As part of Cactus City Studio:
This role is a key member of the external Brand Communications and Marketing team, developing a socially conscious female organisation. This role will assist in executing tactical Social Media to build visibility, generate endorsement and ultimately develop a solid audience.
As a new company it is the role of Social Media Assistant to understand the need for brand building and have a strong passion for equality in the music industry.
Daily responsibilities include:
Help to schedule a weekly social media content calendar across multiple platforms; utilising content created by the collective marketing team, artists, trending topics and industry news.
Engaging with peers and influencers across all platforms.
Creating paid ads for various platforms.
As a face of the brand the SMA will offer weekly insight into trending topics, pulse points and help the team curate engaging content.
Create a monthly report featuring data metrics across all platforms for regular analysis.
Report on any tending of vital information with the team quickly and respectfully.
Understanding the tone of the brand and our ethos, create engaging copy for each platform.
Understanding the nuances of each platform and creating content accordingly.
Working closely with the whole marketing team with an open line of communication.
Skills required for this role:
This role will suit someone with a quick wit and passion and a strong passion for music and the industry as a whole.
An analytical mindset and the ability to understand data and adapt content accordingly.
A good eye for aesthetics and the ability to understand and adopt the language and tone of the brand.
Excellent written communication skills.
The ability to ‘design’ an aesthetic Instagram feed on brand.

Additional desirable skills:
Previous experience or relevant qualifications in Social Media Management or Marketing.
Previous experience or relevant qualifications in using digital creative suites such as InDesign, Photoshop or Adobe Premiere.
