SOPHIE SMITH
Sophie is the bouncy voice presenting Not A Groupie. She is a passionate chatterbox with the goal of uplifting other people and bringing their stories to life. Having graduated from BIMM Bristol in Vocals, she is well versed in the grassroots music industry and has a natural curiosity that brings out the best in our guests. She learns about the hidden job roles along with our podcast listeners, delving into the hidden tips and tricks of the industry.
When not at Cactus City, you’ll find her gigging all over the South West with her alt-rock band, Hamartia.
MOLLY ISSAC
Molly focuses on the auditory experience of Not a Groupie, identifying ways to improve audio quality, offering advice on technical issues, and helping balance programme material.
Molly gets to sit back and fangirl while listening to guests chat about their journey in the music industry, helping Sophie capture audio remotely and on location when needed!
