My name's Eden (they/them) and I'm a London based trans and queer creative. A multi-instrumentalist, writer, and self-acclaimed wordsmith, I like to say I thrive in my exploration of love and the mind. In August 2021, I self-released my debut single, "honey," which has garnered over 10,000 streams on Spotify and received widespread recognition. The release of "honey" was followed by my second single, "the ceiling," which was launched on all major streaming platforms the following month.

In July of this year, I completed a crowdfunding campaign to raise funds to create my upcoming debut EP (more on that below!), in which I met my funding target within two weeks of the month-long campaign. I am a Help-Musicians supported artist, having recently received funding to help me hone my craft further. I have also been taking part in the Help Musicians Co-Pilot Mentoring scheme since March 2023, where I've worked with music professionals from the likes of Universal Music to further develop my work.

I recently announced the release of my debut EP, ‘the fool’, to come out on all major streaming platforms on Friday 27th October 2023, following my latest single, “nice enough”, which is set for release on Wednesday 11th October.

‘the fool’ takes the listener on a sensational journey of my time on earth over the last few years. From mental health, to breakups, astrology and ego, ‘the fool’ weaves through the mind of a young, queer, neurodiverse person in the 21st Century.

I’m also set to headline Strongroom in Shoreditch on Wednesday 8th November to celebrate the release of ‘the fool’ at my EP release party. This EP feels like a very long time coming and I’m so excited for it to be out in the world. These songs focus on issues that span my whole life, from childhood up until this very moment. I hope someone will find solace and connection in these songs, that’s all I’ve ever really wanted.

Mundane things, my own big feelings, my queerness.

I'd love to work with Billie Marten or Flyte. They're both big inspirations for me as artists and I love the work they do.

Try to focus on the music and stay deeply connected to that throughout your career. Remember why you started in the first place. Be the representation you want(ed) to see in the industry and keep your head up!

Ooh I'm a big book worm okay okay, I'd say 'Devotion' by Patti Smith is a great one. Smith basically offers an artistic account of her own creative process and inspiration. It's a short read but gorgeous.

I've honestly been loving Little Simz right now - she's so effortlessly excellent and her work is so culturally well-placed. It's just vibey af.

I also discovered a band called Black Sea Dahu on TikTok and they recently released a new single called 'Not a Man, Not a Woman.' For me, it's a healing song of gender queerness and self acceptance and it is so, so beautiful.

As a trans/non-binary musician, I'd like to see more intentionally carved spaces and opportunities for trans and gender non-conforming folks in the industry.

It's so important, as ever, but particularly with what's happening right now regarding trans rights in the UK and worldwide, to uplift and platform trans and gender minority voices, alongside the voices of women and the voices of folks in other minority groups.

Well, you can pre-save 'the fool' EP via my link tree, and you can stream it on all major streaming platforms from October 27th!

I also have merch available via my website or link tree

AND, if you're around London way on November 8th, come down to the EP release party! It's a fully queer female and trans line-up and it's going to be sooo much fun.
