Queen of gritty powerhouse pop Terrianne has had a snowball of success this year and nothing is stopping her. She started off the year playing 'The Best of New Music Monday' at The Ned London. She then went on to win a slot at the Isle of Wight Festival out of thousands of artists, win Derbyvision with BBC Radio Derby and play YNOT Festival. With continuous support from BBC Radio Derby and BBC Introducing, Terrianne is set to impress with debut EP 'Independent & Free', out on 13th October. After raising over £3000 in crowdfunds, her fans are so excited about the girl power title track.
Terrianne is releasing the girl power title track of her debut EP 'Independent & Free'. Having won 'Derbyvision' with BBC Radio Derby, Terrianne was able to create the music video fully funded by DerbyCAN and The Arts Council. This gritty, defiant, energetic pop track is for the women who need reminding how powerful they are. The women who feel stuck but know they deserve more. The women in the music industry who are fighting twice as hard as men for a space to be heard. Alongside the release Terrianne is running free online 'Girls Night' workshops, partnering with wellbeing coaches and personal stylists to empower fellow female artists to feel independent and free. She is also playing headline gigs in both London and Derby which promise to be sell outs!
People who tell me that I can't do this inspire me to keep writing. Other independent female artists. Live music. Organisations like Cactus City inspire me to keep pushing for what we deserve!

Raye. I love everything she stands for. I recently saw her perform at Royal Albert Hall and she sang a song about body image, taking off all of her clothes. She stood there in her bra and pants and it was so powerful because she doesn't have what is deemed to be a 'perfect' body and I saw myself in her. It was so brave and inspiring.
I would love to see more women and gender minorities headlining major festivals. I would like to feel like I am taken seriously in every music space I walk into. I'd like to feel safe when I am gigging and going into new sessions. I'd like to be connected to more female producers and writers. I would like some of the gatekeepers I meet to be female.
Stream / share my debut EP - Independent & Free which will be out 13.10.23!
Headline shows - Derby 15.10.23, London 14.11.23.
